On June 27, the Hotel Presidente InterContinental hosted a remarkable evening that brought together culinary talent, technique, and tradition. Altier Catering participated in this special dinner, which marked the official induction of four chefs as new members of the Académie Culinaire de France in Mexico: Miguel Taniyama, Ángel Álvarez, Gerardo Sandoval, and Francisco Díaz, founder of Altier Catering.
The Académie Culinaire de France is one of the most prestigious and long-standing culinary institutions in the world. Dedicated to preserving the excellence of French cuisine and promoting professional chef training worldwide, being named a member is a distinguished honor in the gastronomy world.
During the dinner, Chef Gerardo Sandoval prepared the third course, while Chef Miguel Taniyama created an appetizer. Chefs Ángel Álvarez and Francisco Díaz collaborated with both, enriching the experience with their own styles and techniques to deliver a culinary event that celebrated the flavors of the Pacific coast and the finesse of haute cuisine.
